COLOR ROOT joined ZDHC in 2017 and became a ZDHC-contracted chemical formulator! The implementation of the ZDHC program relies on the collective efforts of all supply chain stakeholders, with upstream chemical companies playing a crucial role. COLOR ROOT actively supports the execution of the ZDHC program through concrete actions.
To date, the company has uploaded and published a total of 293 products on the ZDHC Gateway, achieving the highest Level 3 certification. Among these, 157 products belong to COLOR ROOT, while 136 are COLOURZOL® products under the CHROMATOL brand.

ZDHC certification, also known as the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals certification, is a global initiative aimed at promoting the elimination of hazardous chemicals within the textile, apparel, leather, and footwear value chains. ZDHC certification comprises three compliance levels: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3, with Level 3 imposing the most stringent requirements for auditing chemical supplier operations.
