COLOR ROOT was invited to attend the bluesign Chemical Expert Group (CEG) meeting, joining global industry experts to discuss textile chemical safety and sustainable development. Held at the InterContinental Shanghai Jinjiang Tangshan Hotel, the conference focused on core topics including chemical regulation, restricted substance assessment, and testing method optimization, driving the industry toward greater environmental and health sustainability.
As a partner of the bluesign certification program, COLOR ROOT consistently upholds a strong sense of responsibility toward chemical safety. Since becoming a bluesign partner in 2016, we have successfully facilitated the certification of 203 products through the rigorous bluesign process (59 from COLOR ROOT and 144 from CHROMATOL), ensuring compliance with international standards for environmental sustainability, health, and safety (EHS).

It signifies that both production processes and products comply with ecological, health, and safety (EHS) standards, representing the world's most advanced environmental regulation.

The Chemical Expert Group (CEG), a council composed of qualified chemical experts within the industry, aims to establish a platform for expert discussion and proactive action. It focuses on chemical-related issues to drive industry excellence and sustainable solutions.
